Westmoore Baseball Coaches

Kevin Winterowd, Head Coach

Kevin graduated from Cut Bank High School in Montana, earned his BS degree in 1977 from Lewis & Clark State College and M.ED in 2000 from the University of Central Oklahoma. He started his coaching career in American Legion baseball in Montana. He was a graduate assistant coach at Lewis & Clark State College from 1994 - 1997. He spent three years as a hitting and infield coach at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, University of Central Oklahoma and Southern Nazarene University. He spent the summer of 2001 as a hitting, infield and third base coach for the Keene Swampbats of the New England Collegiate League. In 2002 and 2003 he was the manager of the North Adams Steeplecats of the New England Collegiate League. He has coached at Westmoore for four years. He and his wife Kristin have three children, Rachel, Andy and Paul.

Sean Brooks, Varsity Coach

Sean Brooks is a 1992 Blanchard High School graduate. He attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, OK. He coached at DeSoto High School in Texas for five years. He was the head baseball coach at Central Marlow for two years. He joined the Westmoore coaching staff in 2007. He and his wife Kristi have two sons, Bode and Braylon.

Gerald Parker, Junior Varsity Coach

Gerald Parker graduated from Garber High School. He played baseball at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, OK and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1999. He coached baseball at Garber High School from 1997 - 1999 and 2001 - 2007. In 2000 he was the head football coach at Shidler High School and also coached baseball. He was the head baseball coach at Garber High School in 2007. Gerald and his wife Tara have two sons, Leyton and Ty.

Kyle Sanchez, Junior Varsity Coach

Kyle Sanchez graduated from Westmoore in 2001 where he was a 3 year letterman. He played baseball at Rose State College from 2001 - 2003. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Southern Nazarene University. He was a graduate assistant for the Southeren Nazarene University baseball team form 2005 - 2006.

Josh McMartin, Freshman Coach

Josh McMartin graduated from Blackwell High School. He played baseball at Northern Oklahoma College from 1998 - 1999 and at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, OK where he earned his degree in Accouting. He has coached baseball at Westmoore for the last three years. His wife Allison is a teacher at Moore West Junior High.
 

John Burruss, Freshman Coach

John Burruss is a graduate of Moore High School and earned his degree from Central State University (UCO) in 1986. He has spent 23 years in coaching. He first coached Westmoore baseball in 1990 and has also coached at Moore Christian Academy and Brink Junior High. He and his wife Donna have four boys, Paul, Matt, Ben and Blake, three and a half daughters-in-law, ten grandchildren and a really big dog named Layla.
